Schoooooooool's out for Winter! Schoooool's NOT out forever!

This break wasn't much of a break for the first week. Seeing as Mom and Dad went to Washington DC for their anniversary, and left me with a shopping list and a flu virus. I found that I do have a couple motherly instincts. (jumping out of bed at 3 in the morning to hold a puking child's hair) It was a crazy couple of days, but I fit in some fun! I went on a sleigh ride with Trace and his family, that was so cool (and freezing) but fun. We also went to see A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theater. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear... But a prophet, revelator, and seer! (it rhymed.) Yes, we went and met President Monson, it was a good time. He told Trace he wanted him on his team. (cuz he's 6'5) Little does he know, we're all on his team! :) All in all I had a great Christmas despite some sleepless nights!

Christmas in the heart of B31

First of all, Emelia and i had our final presentation in English, and I'm pretty sure we got an A, thanks to my Keynote presentation. Go Mac.


POLAR EXPRESS NIGHT! We planned a really fun date night at our apartment :) We decorated first of all. Because we are great. Then we ate pizza, watched polar express, drank carmel apple cider (which I made and it was sooooooo good!) It was a great night.

That's pretty much all I have to say. I am pretty sure I have ADD, except it's not that I can't focus on one thing, it's just that I can't focus on my homework. I can focus on lots of other things!! it's 5:30 and I think I'll start my ten page paper now.

Just a little shout out to the cougs! GO COUGARS! I went to the game with daddy and kelsey. It was a joyous occasion.
OKAY JUST A SHORT WORD... GLEE IS OVER!!! My roommates and I obsess over it. We all know that Wednesday night is Glee night. No one plans anything. It's quite fantastic. It's over till spring :( But it was a great season. Go Glee.

I'm Dreaming... Of A White... Finals Week?

I just wanted to say that I'm alive. It's actually warmer when it's snowing than it is when there's no snow... I'm sure science would tell me why. But, I don't exactly care. All I know is my clothes from now on will be focusing on function rather than fashion. Happy Christmas Harry.

A Late Thanksgiving

I thought I should probably write about what I'm thankful for... seeing as I didn't express it very well in my previous post about the Holiday :)
I'm thankful for... a school that provides and education and an incredible environment
a family that lives close and loves me, and puts up with my volume and craziness
Kelsey living so close to me
Jelina, Sierra, Heather, Cyndi, and Emelia (roommates) that also put up with my volume and lack of cleanliness
Cyndi and Emelia for listening to me no matter what
Trace for being my very best friend and example
Caleb for also being my best friend and example, and I'm grateful for his example to trace
The Cutest Nephew in all the land.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ that keeps me going every day
a roof over my head, and food on my table (usually)

Giving Thanks!

Thanksgiving was a blast this year! I spent a few days at home, then we all headed up to Idaho! I hadn't been there in ages and it was so fantastic! Cass and I slept at Aunt Mel's for a night, then Grama's the other two. It was just a classic Thanksgiving and I loved it :)

Double Date Night!

Trace and I went on a really fun double date with our great friends Caleb and Lexi. We went downtown and ice skated at the Gallivan Center, and to my surprise, these boys are fantastic ice skaters!! Then we got hot chocolate and finished the night with the movie UP which is so great! These are my best friends and I LOVE them :)

New Moon!

Okay, okay! I'll admit that I was very pleasantly surprised with the movie! I won't say anything since most people haven't seen it yet! Cyndi and I got tickets from Nordstrom for being such good customers... Nordstrom rented out the entire movie theater at University Mall and did a promotion where if you spend 50 bucks you get a ticket to a 9:30 showing the night before it comes out!
So, we went to get in line when we noticed that the lines were... OUTSIDE so we went to five guys (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm) and sat in the car to create a genius plan. Plan A was to sit in the car until the last minute and then when people started going in, scatter, and find the best three seats we could. But then I though of plan B. Long story short, we went and bought hand warmers (and a five dollar hat) and gave them away to the people in the front of the line, and then we got AWESOME seats! :) I thought it was a brilliant plan. and we succeeded. Kelsey came too and it was a really great time :)

Congratulations Elder Bills!

My very best friend got his mission call this week!! Caleb Bills has been called to serve in the Brazil, Fortaleza Mission! He leaves March 17th for the Brazil MTC, and will be speaking Portuguese. He's been such a great friend to me for the last six years and is going to be such an incredible missionary! (For those of you who don't know me well enough... he is NOT my boyfriend) :)

Girls Night Number One: Kenzie Barney, a friend from dance company, came up and went ice skating and bowling! We had a great time :)
Halloween was a blast, we just got together with our usual high school friends and did our tradition Halloween stuff! :)

Yep, you heard correct. I HAVE DELETED MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT the email said it would take 14 days, so my friends are telling me I didn't, but with a lot of will power I haven't gotten on to check, and it should be permanently gone by the end of the week! (my name is Katelin and I've been facebook free for six days.)
