Elder Rodgerson

Elder Trace Rodgerson has been called to serve in the ENGLAND, MANCHESTER mission. He leaves September 10, so yes, I will leave first. Which is actually really awesome. Better to leave than be left. :) I can't express how proud I am of him. He's my very best friend and an incredible example to me.

Oh, so he picked me up on his way home and we went back to his house, no one was home yet... but the call was in the mail. We seriously almost opened it. haha Anyway, we waited for the family to get home and opened it with them. He tried to trick us by saying "Kingston, Jamaica and Zurich, Switzerland" didn't fool me for a second. okay, the second one did. haha But, this mission is the most perfect place for him. I'm so excited. He goes straight to England, which is good. I think he'd hate Provo.

Congrats Elder. Love ya.

What I've been doing... since school :)

So... I live at home again. And man life is good! Oh oh oh so good.

So the day after I moved home... I went BACK to provo haha. Went to lunch with the roommates and then shopping and such. Great last outing.

Then on Saturday... Trace and I put the trampoline back on... it was so hard. Then when we asked Dad for ice cream, he said "I've done that hundreds of time, I never got ice cream."

Then I took the sistas to the park and then to Frogurt. I'm pretty much the best sister ever.
Aaaaaaand.... this is what we do on Sunday nights. What would we do without technology? Communicate? haha. We just love to play tetris and scrabble.

And last but not least, I organized a little get together for Trace's friends. Sorry if you're reading this Tracer... but he doesn't have too many close friends. haha. But it was really fun to have everyone together before he leaves for Nebraska. We sure are going to miss that tall boy.

STAY TUNED FOR....
ELDER RODGERSON'S MISSION CALL!!!

Bored. COURTNEY THIS IS FOR YOU!

i'm bored. I made this. amen.

Friday Night Fun.

Friday was a blast. I helped with a bridal shower for my friend Carol at work. It was nice to have some friends haha. Then it was Emelia's work part so we all got to go ice skating for freeeee! so much fun. Then they convinced me to go to a dance party. which of course turned out to be a blast. Then I came home, cleaned my room, and talked to my roommates till the wee hours of the night/morning. College is fun.

Mesquite!!

Well, BYU doesn't have a spring break. and I think that is ridiculous. So I created my own :) Trace's family and a WHOLE BUNCH of other families that they are great friends with go down to Mesquite/St. George every year. All the kids are pretty young so the Rodgersons are allowed to bring a friend. and ta da! I got to go this year :) We had so much fun. We spent time at the pool, playin on red rocks in St. George, and just enjoying some sun. Even though staying in the same room as Trace's parents should've been weird... it wasn't. It just made me miss my parents! haha. But, it was a much needed vacation.

I learned cute vintage photoshop effects. cute huh.
this is right when we got to the hotel. we refused to take two trips up!!just a small fraction of the group! I'm in the back corner holdin little Marrah.
hooray for swimming!!!! yes, I got a sunburn. that's all I wanted from this trip :)

Trace's sister Whitney. She and I are pretty tight. love her.
and on the way home, we took a couple cars so it was me and these boys in the car. we weren't gonna make it in time for priesthood session. so we stopped in payson, they changed in the parking lot, and i sat in the car for two hours watching happy feet. haha the best part is Jim forgot his church pants. haha!

Trace Update:

Trace is starting a new job with his cousin as one of those annoying door to door salesmen ;) who sells direct tv and dish. He went out on his first weekend trip this weekend and made 3 sales with his cousin the first day and 2 all by himself on saturday! So it's lookin like he's got a knack for it!
Anyway, He's going to Nebraska to do that for a few months this summer before his mission. It's a very awesome opportunity for him to get used to being away from home. And, It will force me to start making new friends even before he leaves for the mish. He's really excited about it, and I'm pretty proud of all his grown up decisions.
His papers go in this week. I can't wait for my best friend to be servin the Lord. He's come a long way and it's all thanks to our father in heaven :)
