a celebration of the day of my birth

Birthday are great days. Especially in Disney World. I don't want to talk a lot. Because I'm tired. So look at these glorious pictures and learn about my fabulous Birthday. The funniest part is watching my hair.... look how it ends. haha. Florida.

And after this I went to work, and then got to watch the fireworks. Mickey said they were just for my birthday :) I love him.

This is everything I had when I got home! Thanks everyone. yes, I got those flowers in the mail!!! Go Trace. Thanks everyone!

Birthdays and Ears.

So my roommate Emily's birthday is on Sunday... hooray. and mine is tomorrow! yahoo! So we celebrated tonight with pizza and cookie cake and ice cream :) and now we're watching monsters vs. aliens. This movie gets way funnier every time. there are just very subtle things that are so hilarious. "has the earth gotten warmer? it would be great to know that. that would be a very convenient truth."

Anyway, I have to work tomorrow at 4:15, so Emily and I are gonna go play at Magic Kingdom until then! I'm way stoked.
The things we have to do to keep our pizza dry... in the torrential down poor that is Florida.

Here's us and our yummy pizza. That's Kelly in the middle and Emily on the other end.

Our birthday cake :)

It's a hard knock life.

Today was so hard.

I caught the 6:04am bus.

I waited to be filed into a line.

Where I waited to clock in for twenty minutes.

Then I listened to over-energetic people talk for an hour.

Then I waited for a bus and rode it forEVER.

Then it got worse. So much worse.

I was being paid to walk around Magic Kingdom.

Then they had the audacity to make me ride Buzz Lightyear!

Then we walked... and walked... and walked... all the way to Haunted Mansion!!

And they made me ride it! They did! And they paid me! They did!

Then when I got home I had to ride ANOTHER bus!

Then I had to go to Magic Kingdom for FREE!

I had to wait in lines for Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, even SPACE MOUNTAIN!

I had to laugh my guts out at the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and my eyes hurt from the special effects in Disney's 3D Philharmagic!

It also poured, which really was bad, but oh well. :)

After the ever so long ride home I'm forced to shower and snuggle up to sleep in a little tomorrow!

Life is good. My roommates are nice. The church is true. Have a magical day.

Behind the magic!

Well here we are! The Disney College Program. It's been a rough start, but I'm doin some good things. I met some girls that are pretty cool. 2 of the 8 in the apartment are LDS so that's how we connected. haha. But, anyway, we had our welcome event, pool party last night. So, I went with them! On the walk over, it started pouring rain. Florida rain just doesn't phase anyone. It was still 100 degrees outside, so we just ate pizza and swam in the rain! It was fantastic.

The mouse himself. I have seen him twice already! I love my job!

Isn't it awesome?!

Alrighty! Next up, my lastish orientation was today! It's called Traditions and it's like a four hour class all about Disney. Past, Present, and Future. We got to go through the FIRST FLOOR OF MAGIC KINGDOM!!! Have you ever noticed that you never see "Cast Members" (employees) walking to or from their locations? Well wouldn't it ruin the "Show" if someone from Adventureland was walking down Mainstreet USA?! Exactly. That's why we have tunnels. So when you are in Magic Kingdom, you're actually on the second floor. And most of those decorative doors you see by gift shops and stuff, yeah they're real doors. Open them and ruin the magic forever. haha. Just Kidding. But it was very interesting... I won't reveal what I saw, but text me or call me if you want to know! It's pretty crazy. If you're under the age of 20, I won't tell you. Because I wish I didn't know either!! But, I have my nametag and my Disney ID which gets me into all the parks for FREE! And all kinds of crazy discounts! Go Team.

First Training Tomorrow!
Have a magical day!

Rough Start. Tough Finish.

Well I'm here. and that's that. After many hours of checking in and being on busses to more checking in, I'm here. I got my assignment...

So congratulations to Shaylee and Tyson! As for my outfit, it'll probably be one of the worst ones. But, I'll get to be around many much little children, and I love me some little children. ha. Not creepy.

Anyway, I finally got to my apartment and had some time to relax, I was alone, then I woke up completely stuffed up and my head was pounding. Had a little breakdown, solved by Trace, and headed to WalMart. Thank heavens for WalMart. I got two of those reusable bags, and it helps me trasport my stuff :) My roommates are cool, 2 are from BYU-Idaho and the one in my room just graduated from Provo. She's 24... and has already served a mission... I'm excited to learn a lot from her. Anyway, I'm off to shower and sleep because I'm terribly exhausted! I'll keep ya'll posted!

Have a magical day!

August- At A Glance.

I'm so sorry that I have been a no-post. Ha. So, let's take a look back on the few exciting things I've done.

Trace's cousin Chloe was Cinderella in the Youth Production of Cinderella at Hale Center Theater. She was fabulous, I was so jealous.

Me, Cynd, Jo Jo, and Trace went up to Park City for the day. We rode the Alpine Slide, ate an early dinner, and did some shopping at the outlet malls. We are an awesome bunch.

My lifelong dream of a surprise party was fulfilled. Thanks to my rad familia. It was the bomb.com

Aaaand, Elder Rodgerson took some cute pictures. Well his mom did. She did a great job, and they turned out so cute. He's so ready for this.

Some things I didn't get to take pictures of... going to Step Up 3D with cynd and mel, makin smore's and lookin at the stars with Tracer, and getting together with all my friends that I haven't seen in forever and probably won't see for two years cuz they're all leaving. Next post will probably be from Flo-Rida! Go Team.
