Bad News Tom Cruise

yeah yeah yeah... i have mono. i have NOT kissed anyone with mono, so i have no clue how this happened. but i'm tired all the time and i'm not as sick as the horror stories i've heard. so i guess i'll be spending a lot of time on my blog, cuz i don't wanna do anything else. anyway. that's that.

ess i have to grow up at some point! Dang it.

Wedding Day???

So... last wednesday we had our annual wedding dress fashion show. and while most girls were fighting about who got to wear the most recent dress... I was excited to wear Rebecca Davies' dress worn in 1981 :) I thought it was so fun! and like i told everyone there... IF I'M GONNA WEAR THE SEVENTIES, I'M GONNA WORK THE SEVENTIES!" (granted it was worn in the eighties... it's seventies style... haha)

Playin Mommy :)

Well! I spent today being Mom, because Mom and Cass had piano camp all day!! And I'll tell ya right now... I love you momma!!!!!! I definitely had no time for make up! But we did have a lot of fun! I woke up around eight and mowed the lawn, then i drank a slim fast shake. then the girls woke up and i got them some breakfast, did the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen. Then dad's motorcycle battery was dead so i had to push him (while sprinting) half way down the street. THEN we finished tidying the house and got ready to go to the store. we got into the car and realized my debit card was in my jacket at Trace's house... So we went there and got it and headed to Walmart! that was a joy, "can we get this?" "nope" "pleeeeease?" i found myself saying what i swore i'd never say... "it's bad for you!" :) after walmart i did something else i didn't wanna do, stopped at wendy's... we put away groceries, ate our lunch and put our swimming suits on! we tried out my work (cowabunga bay) and it was really fun! the water was pretty cold though so we didn't last too long. then we headed home, got a movie some snacks and blankets and settled down. :) Now if you'll excuse me, dinner is on the stove! long day! I love you mommy!

Happy Father's Day

I always have been "my father's daughter". I'm like him in so many ways! I'm controlling... I procrastinate... I'm a perfectionist... I like to talk to people... I HAVE to be in charge... and I definitely have a song for everything :)

I love and respect my dad so much and recognize all the hard work he does for our family. I love being able to feel the spirit of the priesthood in our home. And I learn something new from him every day!

well... can you say summer job? I'm working at the new water park in Draper. The demographic is more for little kids, but I'll tell ya... they have a BLAST. I just do admissions and customer service (season passes and stuff) I'm actually loving it, because I get to be my normal talkative self all the time! So, if you want any info on it, I'm your girl! :)

Singin in the rain!

We are having not so June weather here! Tonight the storm was awesome! And yet, awful! haha! our garden was all the way to the driveway! But Cass and I had some fun :)

Collette's Baptism

Collette Louise Cook was baptized last Saturday, June 6 2009. We had a lot of family come in and we are so proud of the choice she made! :)

GRADUATION!

Graduation was at UVU, as usual. The speeches were long and boring... but the fact that we graduated was pretty sweet! After graduation Mom, Dad, Grama, Kelsey, and I went to Brick Oven with the Sines and the Crawfords-- mmmm (Brick Oven, Not the Sines and Crawfords ;) ), then we went home, opened presents, and I took of to party all night long! So much fun. :)
