disney update :)

I had my phone interview today! (they actually called an hour early, thank heavens I set aside an hour to mentally prepare haha! So, no mental preparation, but I think I did pretty well! Check back in 4-6 weeks for the result :)

It's Happening... Maybe.

Yes. It's been a dream since I was little. I'm going to work in Disneyworld. I don't care what it takes. I passed the online application and interview, now I have a phone interview on Tuesday!! I'm trying to be a "character performer" (for which I have to audition in a while) but if that doesn't work out, I'll do merchandise until it does! All I want is to live and work somewhere where someone is going to tell me to have a magical day! every day!!

Photoshop: I missed you.

Hallelujah!! It's rainin men! Slash super cool effects. let the record show... I have CS4!! thanks to my wonderful Trace. (He pulled some strings... he works for Simply Mac) I have missed Photoshop so much! My payment is giving him lessons. Here's a couple things I've played around with so far... still trying to find what I used to be able to do... (similar situation to my dance class... but I will quote the wonderful Celine Dion... IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW!!)

Derek Discovers the Ice Maker

I just found this video in my iPhoto and I was dying laughing. This is my cousin Derek. He watches his mom fill a bag with ice to put in the cooler and yells WOW!! and points to the cooler- it's going in there?!! WOW!! ah to be a child.

Winter Semester!

Well, a new semester is here whether I like it or not. Here's a run down of my classes.
Mondays and Wednesdays are the same. I go to physical science at 10, (that class will be okay, I've never been great with science, but I've been keeping up on my reading so I should do okay) then I go to Comms 211 at 11, (it's Media Writing, and it'll be challenging, but it's really important for my major) Then I find some food and go to work at 12:30. Stay there till 4:45 then on Mondays I go to Book of Mormon (which is super awesome because I'm forced to study and keep a scripture journal for a half hour a day) and on Wednesdays I go home, and come back to my physical science lab at 6:00.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are super awesome. I have Jazz Technique 1. HOORAY! And I thought I'd never dance again. It's so super awesome, I'm also so super sore. Anyway then I go home or to the library until 4:00 which is PUBLIC RELATIONS! I'm excited to get going on my major!!
And Fridays I just have physical science at 10 and then my comms 211 lab at two. then I can finally relax. I'm learning to like BYU
You all didn't really need to know all this, but for my journal purposes, I wrote it anyway. I'm doin good this semester with acutally doing my homework. I think it will prove to be a glorious time.

We did it. The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Return of the Jedi. ALL IN ONE DAY.
of course, we started off with some McBreakfast, at 7:30 AM

we had grilled cheese for lunch. I'm pro at grilled cheese. We also took a twenty minute break for dinner- pizza. other than that we had a bathroom break between each movie, and that's it.

BAM. at 11:30 PM we were finished. A long day, but totally worth it.

Hap Hap Happy New Year!

This year for New Years we went up the mountain to hang out at Emelia's. She has a beautiful home in Suncrest. We just ate some snacks, played guitar hero world tour, and watched "most shocking music moments" on MTV haha. Trace was lovin that.

Yup, the gang. I still haven't made any college friends. Why should I when I have such awesome high school friends?

My Resolution: don't make unrealistic resolutions. Just keep myself organized and get good grades.
